Expecting to be open July 2025 for the first time to public, check back here for updates or contact us directly at, info@1017orchards.ca, to confirm availability and latest updates. Opening is pending approval of our county development permit, which is currently under review.

Please check the website or contact us directly to confirm the orchard is open for the season. Seasonal variability can affect product timing and availability.

Once confirmed open and available please refer to out website for google map link, signage will be posted at the gate and parking will be marked out.

Staff will meet you at the black utility trailer located on site by the parking area where picking instructions will be explained. At this time you will be provided the rows available for picking on that day, and we ask that you please only pick in your assigned rows.

We do have some containers available for purchase or if you would prefer you are welcome to bring your own approved food safe containers. Please note we will temporarily transfer them into one of our buckets for weighing before transfer back to your container. This is done once you have finished picking for the day, so please come back to the black utility trailer where the fruit be weighed and paid for. (Payment is cash only at this time, will also be looking into option of e-transfer)

Please refrain from picking and eating berries in the orchard, you are welcome to eat as many as you wish once they have been weighed and payment is completed. We would be happy to go over the rows with you prior to starting and allowing a sample and explanation of the different varieties.

Most of the larger tastier berries are hidden under the branches and leaves of the plant. Carefully use one hand to hold the branch and the other to pick the berries. Pick all the berries on the plant before moving on to the next one. This helps to ensure all pickers have plants loaded with berries to pick, rather than only berries you left behind. Please do not waste fruit, and never shake the plants.

No taking of any Haskap cuttings or clippings, even if already broken removal of any Haskap cuttings or clippings is strictly prohibited..

Sorry but absolutely NO PETS are allowed in the orchard. Please plan to leave them at home and if you must bring them with you, please leave them in your vehicle.

There is NO SMOKING allowed anywhere on the premises.

Washcar facility will be located beside the black utility trailer along with hand sanitizer

Please watch your footing when walking as the ground may be uneven, rough, slippery or muddy in and around the orchard.

We recommend bringing sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, sunglasses, snacks and drinking water to help ensure an enjoyable experience while picking. Please respect our orchard by packing out and taking everything you brought in.
